12/9/2011 - TOPINKA DELIVERS SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO CHILD LINK
CHICAGO – Illinois State Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka recently delivered boxes of school supplies to Chicago-based Child Link, a not-for-profit foster care agency. Donated by Topinka’s Chicago staff for area students, the supplies are intended to assist Child Link in providing resources for the state’s most vulnerable residents.
“Child Link provides a wonderful and necessary service for children and families in our state, and we were proud to be able to make a small donation this holiday season,” Topinka said. “I trust that students will make good use of these supplies, and I look forward to continuing to partner with Child Link on future endeavors involving our youth.”
