Wish Bone Canine Rescue
Wish Bone Canine Rescue is a non-profit 501c-3, all-volunteer, no-kill organization founded in 2009. Its primary focus is to find responsible, permanent, loving homes for surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within Bloomington-Normal and Central Illinois.
We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health. Through our foster care program we place our dogs in a loving and caring home environment until they find a forever home. Our need for foster homes is ongoing.
Wish Bone Canine Rescue also places great emphasis on the rehabilitation of sick and
unsocialized dogs and provides them with all necessary care. We are also advocates of
educating the public in the areas of proper canine care and in being a responsible pet
owner.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm/flea preventative.
