Quad City Animal Welfare Center
The mission of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center (QCAWC) is to operate a shelter for homeless animals, to support a spay and neuter program and to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. The QCAWC is the only full service no-kill animal shelter located in the Quad Cities. We do not receive any government funding and rely solely on donations.
All of our animals have been examined by our shelter veterinarian, Dr. Hedges. They are vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped. Our adoption fee for cats and rabbit is $40.00 and for dogs is $100.00. There is an application to be completed.
