Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue (GCCR) is a not-for-profit corporation based in the greater Chicago IL area.  The IRS has determined that the GCCR is tax exempt under 501(c)(3).   GCCR's mission is to help ensure the health and security of abused, abandoned, and otherwise endangered Cavalier King Charles Spaniels by rehabilitating and placing Cavaliers from shelters and similar situations, by assisting breeders and owners in finding new homes for their Cavaliers, and by providing to the public educational materials and consultation regarding Cavalier health and care.

Lucy loves to play fetch and run with other dogs, and cats. She’s quick to learn and usually comes when called, sits on command. Lucy has idiopathic seizures controlled by medication costing about $7 a month. She would do great in a home with other dogs and someone at home all day.

Princess is very settled, except during thunderstorms!  Otherwise quiet, she’s comfortable with other dogs, very outgoing with strangers.  Walks well on a leash.  Likely a mom many times over, she watches over other dogs.  Cuddling is her favorite sport.

Tiny is a wonderfully happy puppy. Everyone who meets him loves Tiny and he loves everyone in return. He responds to verbal corrections well and stops doing the behaviors. His owners had house training concerns -- Tiny needs to be with humans all day, and to be left outside regularly, preferably in a fenced yard.
