Buddy
Buddy

Age:  3 Years
Breed:  German Shorthair Pointer Lab mix
Gender: Male

Buddy is a three-year-old German Short haired Pointer. We are not sure if he is purebred. Buddy was found on the streets of Chicago and taken in by a Lake County man. The man who took Buddy in placed flyers everywhere and called the authorities in case an owner was looking for their dog. No one came forward. Buddy’s new caretaker took Buddy to the vet and settled him into his home. But after five months he took a job that requires him to travel.  He asked us to take Buddy in. Here is what his owner said about Buddy: Buddy is a younger, energetic dog that was found stray in an alley in Chicago. He likes to run outside and is very playful with dog toys. He's very social with people and is good with other dogs. He's an overall friendly dog and is always happy with everyone he meets.

Chili
Chili

Age: 3 Years
Gender: Male
Breed: Chihuahua

Here are a few words from Chili on what he would like to find. This spring I would love to have a fresh start in life. I am working with my foster mom on trying to overcome my tendencies to be timid and trying to boost my self confidence. My ideal home would a calm and quiet household due to my nervousness and I would benefit with being in a home without little children because they are too much for me. I am the perfect size dog for someone who just looking for companionship.  I am on the small size, just 12 pounds and I do like to be around other dogs and even cats. Maybe there is a home out there with a dog that can be my role model?  Someone that I can look up to and follow around to learn the ways of the land. It would probably help boost my self-esteem. What else can I tell you about me? I seldom bark and don’t demand too much attention. Mind you I do like to get some lovin’ from time to time. But here are my big plus’s: I am completely housetrained, alert, walk nicely on a leash, love car rides, sitting in the sunshine and snuggling under the covers. Oh, yeah almost forgot… I love food! Please take the time and patience with me because in the end you will be rewarded with a great best friend. I will be waiting to hear from you.
