About A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter:
Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment (A.D.O.P.T.) is a private, "no-kill", non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has found homes for over 20,000 pets. We provide a temporary, loving home for dogs and cats that no longer have a family of their own. The animals in our shelter have ended up here for a variety of reasons ranging from abandonment, to rescue from an abusive situation, to owner surrender because they no longer can or want to take care of them. Our animals are loving, family pets who are desperately awaiting for their forever home. A.D.O.P.T. provides the best care possible for all animals entering the program, including many animals with special needs, who would never have a chance for rehabilitation and adoption at most other shelters.
A.D.O.P.T. was founded in 1989 by a group of generous volunteers determined to find homes for animals in need. Over the decades, our objective has remained the same: to place animals into permanent, caring homes and advance the humane treatment of animals through education.

Looking for a sweet, older gent who still has a spring in his step? Then look no further. At first glance, I may seem a bit shy so I tend to fall under the radar for most people. However, being in a shelter after so many years takes a bit of getting use to. I take comfort, though in the attention of humans. I would be perfect for someone who is looking for a companion animal who isn't too much trouble.

I'm a playful boy but still working out the rules here with all the other kitties. Sometimes when things get a little crazy I find it easier to just duck out of sight. When the dust settles, though, you'll find I'm a kitty with a whole lot of love to share.

I'm a sensitive little lass who likes to take her time getting comfortable before giving herself over to belly rubs and head scratches. I'm a little nervous in new situations and not too sure about hanging out with all these other cats. All I want is to settle down in a quiet (single cat) household, with someone who wants some cuddle time. I'm also "furniture friendly" (front paw declaw).
